No, no, no… I have not written a letter to Santa. Never!
I don’t believe in Santa—never have and never will!
My grandchildren don’t believe in Santa. David gets in trouble at school for saying that Santa is not real.
I guess the kids at school had to write a letter to Santa. David came up with a very ingenious way to find out if he’s right or wrong.
David asked Santa for an IPhone!
He informed his mother that if he gets an IPhone, then he will believe in Santa.
David really wants a phone and he knows that his parents will not get one for him. So, if all this Santa business is true, David will get an IPhone.
I don’t even have an IPhone!
Let me tell you something very real that David believes in. He believes in God!
I believe in God.
I trust God!
I delight in him!
People can talk all they want about Santa, and fool children into believing such a thing.
But you can’t trust Santa.
You can’t rely on him.
Because there is no such thing as Santa, other than in people’s imagination.
Pick up a penny and see what it says!
I collect pennies I find laying around. Why? Because they remind me of whom I trust in.
IN GOD WE TRUST!
Instead of writing letters to Santa, write letters to God. I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ll do it again. Get the DVD “Letters to God”. It’s a very touching story about a boy that had cancer and the letters he wrote to God. They landed at the same place the letters to Santa end up–the Post Office. We have to write more letters so the Post Offices don’t have to close. That’s one of the sad news stories of the day. The postal service is in big trouble!
What do you think? Is David going to get an IPhone? Only if this grandmother pitches in. But that’s not going to happen.
On Christmas Day David is going to get confirmation for his beliefs.
There is no Santa!
