Salvation for Everyone

I don’t know if you have come across people that have the notion that God has a chosen few that will be saved, that he has predestined some for salvation, and others… what about them?

I’m not looking to go into any debate here, but I just want to point out some Scriptures that clearly show that…

  • ALL are invited to come to Jesus
  • ANYONE who believes in Him will be saved
  • EVERYONE who believes in Him has eternal life
  • WHOSOEVER will may come

If it were so that God has chosen only some for salvation, don’t you think it would clearly be stated, like “everyone of the chosen” or “whoever of the predestined”? But all references make it very clear that salvation in Jesus is for everyone.

God’s love and salvation is whoever will come, not just for a chosen few. We have all been predestined for salvation, we have all been chosen, but sadly many reject the offer.

Reed and heed, and rejoice that God most willingly gave his life for you!

Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

1 Tim 2:3-4
God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Matt 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 16:16
Whoever believes
and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Rom 1:16
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Rom 10:4
Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

Rom 3:22
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

Rom 10:11
As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

Rom 10:13
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

John 3:14-18; 36
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.

John 10:9
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.

John 6:40
For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 5:24
I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life

1 John 5:1
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

2 Cor 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Acts 2:21
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Acts 13:38-39
Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses.

Rev 22:17
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

About kelund

My name is Kerstin Anderas-Lundquist. I was born in Sweden to Per & Brita Anderas, on March 6, 1946. In 1948 we left to begin a missionary life in Chile; in 1956 we moved on to Peru. On May 1, 1969 I married an all-Swedish guy from Karslkrona: Bengt Göran Emanuel Lundquist. God blessed us with two daughters: Eva-Marie Elizabeth and Ruth Carina. We served as missionaries in Peru and Bolivia. In 1988 we moved to the United States to work at Life Publishers in Miami, Florida. I was to assist in developing the line of Sunday School Curriculm in Spanish known as Vida Nueva. I live in Springfield, Missouri, and am retired from work at the Assemblies of God Headquarters. My husband and daughter Eva-Marie have been promoted to Heaven. Carina is married to Thom Cole and they have given me four gourgeous grandchildren, even five (teen-age John). I will be writing about my life, past and present, blended with visions for the future. My deepest desire is to spread the “seed of love”–inspiration to serve God and our neighbors with love and compassion.
