Since I decided I wanted to make an IMPACT as never before, so many things have come up that I already feel swamped, and it’s not even been two days. At the same time I feel like something wants to take a hold of my chest. I’ve already had two long drawn out congestions this season. I’m going to take this thing by the horn and go to bed early and get some extra hours of sleep. That should boost my immune system.
Before I take that action, let me give you what I consider the Word for the Year.
1 Thess 5:16-24
- Be joyful always
- Pray continually
- Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
- Do not put out the Spirit’s fire
- Do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good.
- Avoid every kind of evil.
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
What better words to live by!
If God puts it on your heart, please pray for me. My immune system is still not recuperated after the chemotherapy. I need lots of strength to keep my resolve of making an IMPACT! And at this very moment I’m praying for each reader. May we all be on fire for God!
