This weekend we are thinking of mothers and praising them for their amazing work. I just have to look at my daughter and see all the hours and effort she puts in to raise her children. My prayer for her is that she will be a Proverbs 31 kind of women. Reading the description given there can be a little discouraging for some, but just go down to verse 30 and see what really matters.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
What counts is that you fear the Lord. And that goes for mothers and fathers and for everyone!
I have been busy all day writing in Spanish the study I posted for Mother’s Day last year on this blog. Now it’s time to get ready for a dance recital with Brianna so let me give you a link that my son-in-law gave me yesterday. It’s a testimony of a remarkable woman, a brave woman. Watch it and see if you agree with me.
If you are a mother, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
To all my other blogger friends, have a great weekend and if you get to spend it with your mother, you are blessed. My mother has already reached her final destination. I praise God that I had a godly mother.
