The Number of Perfection

77777. That’s how many sevens I had in the invoice for the big job I’ve just finished and am turning in. No, I did not make $77,777.00! First of all, today is 7/7. There go 2 sevens. The other sevens where in another part of the invoice.

Perfection! Does that mean I turned in a perfect job? I hope it was as close to perfect as I could make it. I strive for perfection. Not because I’m a perfectionist but because my Lord and Savior deserves the best from me. When I do a job for Gospel Publishing House or any other publishing entity, I consider it a labor of love to the Lord. That I get paid for it is a big bonus. I need that money to keep my own i-publishing ministry going.

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Col 3:17).

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free” (Eph 6:7-8).

Let’s get back to seven.

I put in “seven” in my e-concordance. There is so much material on “seven” that if I went through it I would not complete the other job pending, so it will have to wait.

I found a web site called sevens. Maybe you want to check it out.

The sevens, I’ll get back to them, after a lengthy study. For now, here are  the greatest sevens:

The seven I AM of Jesus

“I am the bread of life” — John 6:35,48, 51

“I am the light of the world” — John 8:12

“I am the door of the sheep” — John 10:7,9

“I am the good shepherd”— John 10:11, 14

“I am the resurrection, and the life” — John 11:25

“I am the way, the truth, and the life” — John 14:6

“I am the true vine” —  John 15:1,5

About kelund

My name is Kerstin Anderas-Lundquist. I was born in Sweden to Per & Brita Anderas, on March 6, 1946. In 1948 we left to begin a missionary life in Chile; in 1956 we moved on to Peru. On May 1, 1969 I married an all-Swedish guy from Karslkrona: Bengt Göran Emanuel Lundquist. God blessed us with two daughters: Eva-Marie Elizabeth and Ruth Carina. We served as missionaries in Peru and Bolivia. In 1988 we moved to the United States to work at Life Publishers in Miami, Florida. I was to assist in developing the line of Sunday School Curriculm in Spanish known as Vida Nueva. I live in Springfield, Missouri, and am retired from work at the Assemblies of God Headquarters. My husband and daughter Eva-Marie have been promoted to Heaven. Carina is married to Thom Cole and they have given me four gourgeous grandchildren, even five (teen-age John). I will be writing about my life, past and present, blended with visions for the future. My deepest desire is to spread the “seed of love”–inspiration to serve God and our neighbors with love and compassion.
