A Princess Turns Five

Mi Sarita

This is not a Royal Highness as we might think of a Princess. This is a “princess” God brought into my life at one of my lowest points. I was in the hospital having surgery because of cancer when the news came that she was on the way.

I was going through tough cancer treatments when she arrived five years ago today. Every time I see her she reminds me that I am a Cancer Survivor! God has been merciful and honored my prayers. I asked for more time so I could tell the next generations about his wonders. And he has given me more time.

I wrote this prayer for this precious princess when she was a baby. I will keep praying this as long as I live. Sarah, Happy Birthday!

A Prayer for Sarah

Sarah is a wonderful work of God. All the days ordained for her are written in your book. Teach her to number her days aright, that she may gain a heart of wisdom. Satisfy her with your unfailing love, that she may sing for joy and be glad all her days. May your favor always rest upon her. Keep her as the apple of your eye, hide her in the shadow of your wings, May no weapon forged against her prevail.

May Sarah learn to love Jesus above all and seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. May she have a gentle and forgiving spirit, abounding in the fruit of the Spirit. I pray that she will be a happy and healthy girl.

Thank you, Lord that you will command your angels to guard her in all her ways. They will encamp around her and deliver her.

I pray that Sarah will live a life of love, and that she may be filled to the measure of the fullness of God. Teach her to be obedient to her parents, that it may go well with her and that she may enjoy long life on earth, if the Lord tarries.

May Sarah be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power!

I pray for Sarah’s…

EYES – to look upon the Lord

EARS – to listen to God’s voice

MOUTH – to speak the truth

HANDS – to do what is good

FEET – to walk in God’s path

HEART – to keep pure

MIND – to think beautiful thoughts

WILL – to obey in all things

Honor to Sarahs 5th I love this girl more than words can tell!

About kelund

My name is Kerstin Anderas-Lundquist. I was born in Sweden to Per & Brita Anderas, on March 6, 1946. In 1948 we left to begin a missionary life in Chile; in 1956 we moved on to Peru. On May 1, 1969 I married an all-Swedish guy from Karslkrona: Bengt Göran Emanuel Lundquist. God blessed us with two daughters: Eva-Marie Elizabeth and Ruth Carina. We served as missionaries in Peru and Bolivia. In 1988 we moved to the United States to work at Life Publishers in Miami, Florida. I was to assist in developing the line of Sunday School Curriculm in Spanish known as Vida Nueva. I live in Springfield, Missouri, and am retired from work at the Assemblies of God Headquarters. My husband and daughter Eva-Marie have been promoted to Heaven. Carina is married to Thom Cole and they have given me four gourgeous grandchildren, even five (teen-age John). I will be writing about my life, past and present, blended with visions for the future. My deepest desire is to spread the “seed of love”–inspiration to serve God and our neighbors with love and compassion.
