I’m modernizing myself! I finally decided to get an iPhone!
I knew it would be a tempting device, with many apps to play with. This morning I spent one hour flipping through quotes in Pinterest. And part of it was practicing the new game my daughter and my grandchildren have shown me, called Candy Crush. That will have to stop. I have more important things to do.
This morning I have been corresponding with Cristina through Drop Box. Her Skype is not working. Too many people on Skype in Peru, I guess. So we have to write notes to each other about the work we’re doing.
Don’t you just love all this modern technology? I waited the longest to get email because I knew it would take up my time. Now I can’t live without it!
So I have waited and waited to get an iPhone. That’s not all! I’ve given myself a Christmas present that I hope will simplify my life. At least I will not fill up more bookcases (that I don’t have!). You guessed it! I now have Kindle. I just have to learn to use it.
What else modern do I have? Television, electronic camera, color printer, scanner, COMPUTER, DVR (which I seldom use, except when my grandchildren visit me)…
All these things help me in the most important mission, to spread the message of Christ, the King.
The day is coming up when we once again celebrate his birth. May His love overflow in your heart.
Most of these trees are from Peru, thanks to my sister Agneta
and her modern device called a camera!
