Yesterday I celebrated another 4th of July in my adopted country. I wish I could have been with my jewels and watched the fireworks with them. I saw them from New York on television. That was the extent of my celebration!
Now I’m busy writing my article for the home. I just had to take a break and show you how perfect my daughter dressed them. I used to dress my girls alike. Way back I wrote a blog with photos.
These kids are the most grandiose blessings of everything that has come to me in my new country. To God be the glory!
I’m counting my blessings… there is no end! And the most wonderful is still to come.
I have two graves in this country. My first-born and my husband have gone on ahead to the country of my eternal citizenship. Soon I’ll see them again!
Do you have the wonderful hope of seeing your loved ones in eternity? That is a great source of joy. But the best and greatest of all will be to see my Savior face to face. I will fall down at his feet. I’ll probably kiss them like Mary did when she anointed Jesus with the costly perfume.
I picked this picture from Facebook. It gives a clear picture. Jesus gave his life to save my soul. That is the greatest blessing. I’m thankful for the military who put their life on the line to keep our freedoms, but Jesus is worth all the praise and glory for setting us free from sin and opening the door to an eternity in heaven.
If Jesus sets you free, you are free indeed!
