I enjoy writing stories based on true life. Some years ago two of my grandchildren showed an act of kindness towards their sister. It’s turned into a story.
The Apostle Paul admonishes in his letter to the church in Colossi:
As God’s chosen people… clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness,
humility, gentleness and patience. (Colossians 3:12 NIV)
The girls loved to dress up as princesses so that part had to go into the story. My assistant Cristina drew pictures and I made coloring pages. I had those pages with me when I visited at Thanksgiving. Sarah, the little one, wondered why she wasn’t in the story. So we had Cristina make her into a princess too.
Here Sarah was coloring. Then we made puppets. She had them act out the kindness of her siblings.
Do you want to read the story? You can print it: 41 Dress of Kindness

We here quite a lot about kindness and giving back this Christmas Season, but it should be a daily thing to dress with kindness.
May God help us to shine the light of Christ through kindness!
